Operating exclusively within the Southern Water framework, I proudly serve clients across Hampshire and West Sussex with reliable, efficient, and industry focused solutions.
Who I Am
With 20 years of engineering knowledge, my career began in the marine industry, where I earned my engineering degree and senior officer’s license. During this time, I was involved in commissioning and taking large ships and yachts to sea, gaining valuable hands-on experience in complex systems. I later transitioned into the backup power sector, where I spent several years designing and installing projects ranging from small-scale setups to large, critical infrastructure systems.
In recent years, I’ve specialised in electrical and mechanical project engineering within the water industry - providing commissioning services and CAD design. I now work exclusively under the Southern Water framework, serving clients across Hampshire and West Sussex.
Project Engineering
I have a proven track record of delivering multiple electrical and mechanical scopes within the Southern Water framework, ensuring all works are completed in full compliance with WIMES and both MED and CED specifications.
My approach combines practical engineering expertise with a detailed understanding of regulatory and technical standards, ensuring safe, efficient, and specification-aligned project delivery every time.
Commissioning Activities
I provide comprehensive commissioning services to the water industry, covering electrical and mechanical systems across clean and wastewater sites. My work includes pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and full system integration for equipment such as pumps, MCCs, instrumentation, and control panels. I support and lead SATs, ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Southern Water’s standards.
Electrical Design
I provide comprehensive electrical design services, producing detailed AutoCAD drawings such as single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable routing plans, termination schedules, and panel layouts. All designs are backed by Trimble electrical calculation software, ensuring accurate sizing, load assessments, and full compliance with industry standards. This integrated approach supports safe, efficient installation and reliable long-term operation across all project scopes.
